Just across the road from the Albert Park Grand Prix racetrack is the Gunn Island Hotel, one of Melbourne's most exciting pubs.

The hotel formerly know as the Middle Park Hotel was opened as the Gunn Island Hotel in November 2001 after being closed for five months for an extensive refurbishment.

The new establishment was built around a micro brewery which became inactive in November last year in order for the hotel to concentrate on a stronger all round food and beverage offer. With an extensive range of tap and bottled beers, an impressive pub wine list, the talented Brendan Jones in the kitchen and very attractive surroundings, there's a very good chance you'll have a very nice time...


Restaurant
The kitchen is open from 12 midday until late 7 days a week . In addition to our main and bar menu's, we also run specials boards with Chefs daily creations.

Having a cosy 50 seat dining room in front of an open fire has made bookings essential, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The full menus' are available throughout the hotel and casual dining is encouraged.

• Monday kicks off the week with locals night. All bar meals are available at $12.
• Tuesday is $15 Steak Day with 300g rump cooked to your liking.
• Thursdays are BYO in the dining room. With any booking you make for the dining room you can bring your own bottle of wine or purchase from our canteen at the take away price.

Getting Here:
Getting to the Brewbar by public transport is easy. Catch the number 96 tram that travels from East Brunswick to St. Kilda (travels via Bourke and Spencer streets in the city) and alight at the Middle Park stop. If you're driving, take a look in the Melways directory REF: 57H6 - There's plenty of parking for cars and bikes.
